WPLP Structure

The Wuskwatim Power Limited Partnership owns the Wuskwatim Generating Project.

The partnership consists of the General Partner (5022649 Manitoba Ltd.), Manitoba Hydro, and NCN's wholly owned Taskinigahp Power Corporation (TPC). The General Partner is a wholly owned subsidiary of Manitoba Hydro and manages the business of the partnership.

As set out in the PDA, Manitoba Hydro is contractually responsible for constructing, managing, operating and maintaining the Wuskwatim Generating Station for WPLP.

TPC, which holds NCN's shares in the project, has the option of owning up to 33 percent of the Wuskwatim Generating Station and to this point has invested $1 million in the project.

The Wuskwatim Transmission Project that provides the infrastructure for connecting Wuskwatim to Manitoba's power grid, is wholly owned by Manitoba Hydro.
