 Ongoing
monitoring is occurring for the project and is consistent with
licensing, regulatory approvals and requirements set out in the
Wuskwatim PDA.
Monitoring
is being conducted on all phases of the project (access road construction,
site preparation and dam construction) and will continue when
the station is operating. Monitoring requirements relate
to impacts such as: environmental (aquatic, terrestrial), heritage/archaeological,
economic (employment, income, purchasing) and social impact on
residents and communities.
